From 1P to 8P
During this week, come and discover new techniques for modelling clay, understanding it and learning how to shape it to your own liking.
Our ceramics specialist, Mariem M’baye, will be offering you a ceramics workshop every morning to create a personalised, decorated candle jar to add a little magic this autumn.
The creations will be ready and returned within a month.
The afternoons will be devoted to outdoor activities around the school.
Timetable :
Welcome: from 8.30 am
Start of activities: 9.00 am
Departure: between 4:30pm and 5:00pm
The mornings are devoted to the week’s theme and the afternoons to outings.
Location: La Découverte School – Geneva Campus – av. de Sécheron 11
Meals: Every day, children bring their morning snack, a meal (cold or reheatable picnic, microwave available) and an afternoon snack, and drinks.
Outfits: Shoes and clothes suited to the weather conditions. If necessary, an old t-shirt or shirt for ceramics. Please note the child’s first name on all items.
Coordinators: Mariem M’baye and members of the after-school care team
Cost: CHF 410.- (materials, entrance fees, transport: all included).
Registration: Online via the parents’ portal, on a “first come, first served” basis, from Friday 22 September at 12:00. Camp registration will be open to external children from Friday 29 September at 12:00.
Confirmation of registration will be sent to you shortly. Payment for the camp will be made by invoice. No refunds will be made in the event of absence or illness during the camp, even on presentation of a medical certificate.
Programme: A programme will be given to you before the start of the camp. The content of the activities may be adapted depending on the weather.
