Over the past week, we at La Découverte have been busy with two enriching Forest School events, in collaboration with Inside Out Nature, Denmark’s leading Nature and Forest School training provider.
First, we hosted a one-day refresher for 25 of our teachers who have participated in the training over the past three years. Together, we reflected on our practice and explored next steps, both in the classroom and out in the forest.
Currently, we’re up in the beautiful Massif des Bauges with a new group of 13 teachers from our Mies and Geneva schools. Over the course of three days, we’re immersing ourselves in nature and focusing on how to meaningfully integrate outdoor learning into our pedagogy.
It’s been a wonderful mix of reflection, growth, and fresh inspiration for everyone involved.
